We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Department Mathematics. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to the mathematics department, overseeing curriculum development, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality education to our students.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing a curriculum that meets the needs of students and aligns with educational standards
• Leading and managing a team of mathematics teachers, providing guidance and support as needed
• Monitoring student progress and implementing interventions when necessary
• Collaborating with other department heads to coordinate interdisciplinary projects and initiatives
• Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current on educational trends and best practices
• Communicating regularly with parents, students, and staff to provide updates on department activities and student progress

Skill Sets:

• Master's degree in Mathematics or related field
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
• Experience in curriculum development and assessment
• Knowledge of educational technology and its application in mathematics education
• Proven track record of improving student outcomes and achieving departmental goals
