Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations
• Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
• Provide HSE training to employees and contractors
• Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics
• Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills
• Stay up-to-date on new HSE regulations and best practices

Skill Sets:

• Excellent knowledge of HSE regulations and standards
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and training skills
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Certification in HSE management (e.g. NEBOSH) is preferred
