Job Description:

The MEP Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings. They will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure that designs are accurate and meet all project requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Creating detailed drawings and plans for MEP systems based on project requirements
• Collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet all technical and safety standards
• Reviewing and revising drawings as needed to address feedback from team members or clients
• Coordinating with other draftsmen and technicians to ensure project deadlines are met
• Keeping up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for MEP design and drafting

Skill Sets:

The ideal candidate for this position should have the following skills and qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and design principles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality work
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines
• Previous experience in MEP drafting or a related field is preferred
