Job Description: Plumbing Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and plan plumbing systems for buildings, including piping, fixtures, and fittings
• Collaborate with architects and construction teams to ensure plumbing designs meet building codes and regulations
• Create detailed drawings and specifications for plumbing projects
• Perform hydraulic calculations to determine pipe sizing and flow rates
• Conduct site visits to assess existing plumbing systems and identify potential improvements
• Manage and oversee plumbing installation and construction projects
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and contractors

Skill Sets:

• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
• Experience with hydraulic calculations for plumbing systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
