Job Description: Scaffolding Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Planning and overseeing the construction, erection, and dismantling of scaffolding on construction sites
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Supervising a team of scaffolders and providing guidance and support as needed
• Inspecting scaffolding structures for stability and safety
• Maintaining records of scaffold inspections and certifications
• Communicating with project managers and other contractors to coordinate scaffolding activities
• Training new scaffolders on best practices and safety procedures
• Resolving any issues or concerns related to scaffolding operations

Skill Sets:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in scaffolding construction
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to scaffolding operations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Certification in scaffolding operations (e.g. CISRS)
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans
