Job Description:
Oversees and manages the technical staff’s daily operations consisting of corrective and preventative maintenance for critical building systems, automation controls and valves directly relating to HVAC, electrical, piping/plumbing systems
Review event notes, and take a leadership role in the setup and breakdown of chairs, tables, pipe and drape, rubber matting and carpets, giveaways, Additionally working with the Events department in setting up and converting exhibit halls, conference rooms and banquet rooms as necessary from event to event
Monitors work areas and examine systems to ensure safe conditions or to detect violations of procedures or safety rules
Examines systems information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs
Requisition materials and supplies, such as equipment, replacement parts
Plan, schedule, and coordinate general maintenance, major repairs, and remodeling or construction projects for properties
Coordinate and oversee operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement of properties
Maintain records of maintenance, operating costs, and special permits issued
Determine and certify the eligibility of prospective vendors
Other duties as assigned by Facilities Manager
