We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Consultant in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to join our team. As a Consultant PICU, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care to critically ill pediatric patients in the intensive care unit. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care for our young patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs
• Monitor and adjust medication doses and interventions as necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for patients
• Communicate effectively with patients' families to keep them informed of their child's condition and treatment
• Participate in medical rounds, conferences, and continuing education to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in pediatric critical care

Skill Sets

• Board certification in Pediatrics with a subspecialty in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
• Excellent clinical skills and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions in high-pressure situations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning
