Job Description: Dental Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during procedures and dental exams
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient care
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Take and develop patient x-rays
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records

Skill Sets:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and dexterity for handling instruments and equipment
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Certification or training as a dental assistant preferred
