Job Description: Electrical BIM Modeler

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed electrical models using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure accuracy of the electrical models
• Assist in the design and layout of electrical systems for buildings and infrastructure projects
• Prepare drawings, schematics, and diagrams for electrical systems
• Perform clash detection and resolution to avoid conflicts with other disciplines
• Stay current on industry standards and best practices for electrical design and modeling
• Collaborate with project managers to meet project deadlines and deliverables

Skill Sets:

• Proficiency in BIM software such as AutoCAD MEP, Revit, or Navisworks
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and design principles
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to electrical systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in modeling
• Experience in MEP coordination and clash detection is a plus
