Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental programs and policies
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and develop strategies to prevent their recurrence
• Provide training to employees on safety procedures and protocols
• Maintain records and documentation related to health, safety, and environmental activities
• Participate in emergency response planning and drills

• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Experience with incident investigation and reporting
• Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g. NEBOSH) is preferred
