As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and efficiency of IT systems within an organization. You will provide technical support to employees, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, and implement new technologies to improve overall performance.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems
• Provide technical support to end-users
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to implement new technologies
• Manage network security and ensure data protection
• Document IT procedures and update system documentation
• Train employees on IT systems and software

Skill Sets:

• Proficiency in operating systems, network protocols, and hardware
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
• Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies
• Certifications in relevant IT fields (e.g. CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus
