Job Description: IT Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to end-users in person, via phone, email, or remote desktop
• Install and configure hardware and software systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network connectivity, computer systems, and software applications
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and network infrastructure
• Create and update technical documentation for systems and procedures
• Collaborate with IT team members to implement new technology solutions and upgrades
• Train end-users on how to use new hardware and software systems
• Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure system security and performance

Skill Sets:

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
• Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
