Job Description: Nurse Manager - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the ICU
• Supervising nursing staff and ensuring quality patient care
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures in line with best practices
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Providing leadership and guidance to staff in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
• Monitoring and evaluating patient outcomes and quality metrics
• Participating in budget planning and resource allocation
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of practice

Skill Sets:

• Current RN license and certification in critical care nursing
• Previous experience in a leadership or management role in an ICU setting
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of critical care practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to make quick and effective decisions under pressure
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and other healthcare technology
• Strong organizational and time management skills
