The Pre-Contract Quantity Surveyor is responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects before they begin. They work with a team of architects, engineers, and contractors to analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents in order to create detailed cost estimates. The Pre-Contract Quantity Surveyor also plays a key role in developing cost plans, preparing tender documents, and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects
• Collaborate with project teams to analyze project requirements and assess cost impact
• Develop cost plans and budgets
• Prepare tender documents and analyze bids from suppliers and subcontractors
• Negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors
• Provide advice on cost management during the pre-construction phase
