Senior Structural Design Engineer

Job Description:

The Senior Structural Design Engineer is responsible for leading the structural design team and providing technical expertise on engineering projects. They will work closely with architects, contractors, and other team members to ensure the structural integrity and safety of buildings and structures.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the structural design team and oversee the design process from conception to completion
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on engineering projects
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other team members to ensure project goals are met
• Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the safety and integrity of buildings and structures
• Prepare and review engineering drawings and specifications
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural conditions
• Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices

Skill Sets:

• Strong technical knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or STAAD.Pro
• Experience with building codes and regulations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
