Job Description: Project Engineer - Mechanical Piping

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and oversee mechanical piping systems for construction projects
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Perform site visits to assess existing piping systems and develop plans for upgrades or repairs
• Create detailed project specifications and documentation
• Review and approve design drawings and materials for compliance with industry standards
• Manage project timelines and deadlines
• Provide technical support to construction teams and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in mechanical piping systems

Skill Sets:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to mechanical piping systems
• Experience with project management tools and software
• Previous experience in the construction or engineering industry
