Job Description: Quantity Surveyor (QS) MEP

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects
• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis for MEP materials and labor
• Review and analyze project specifications to ensure accuracy of cost estimates
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop project budgets
• Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
• Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives

Skill Sets:

• Proficiency in MEP cost estimating software
• Knowledge of construction materials and methods
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills
• Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field
