They work closely with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time. Quantity Surveyors play a critical role in ensuring that construction projects are financially viable and cost-effective.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process
• Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to find cost-effective solutions
• Negotiate and prepare contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Review design plans and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities
• Prepare financial reports and forecasts for project stakeholders
• Assess and manage project risks related to costs
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
