A Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all costs relating to construction projects, from initial calculations to final figures. They work to minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of bills of quantities and tender documents
• Cost planning and cost control throughout the project
• Identifying and managing project risks
• Reviewing and negotiating variations to construction contracts
• Preparing final accounts

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of construction industry regulations and standards
• Proficiency with relevant software such as AutoCAD and Excel
