Responsibilities:

• Preparing cost estimates for construction projects
• Reviewing project plans and specifications
• Collaborating with engineers, architects, and contractors
• Analyzing and evaluating bids from subcontractors and vendors
• Developing and presenting proposals to clients
• Monitoring project costs and budgets
• Providing guidance and support to junior estimators
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness of estimates

Skill Sets:

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in construction estimating software
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Experience in project management and contract negotiation
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Minimum of 5 years experience in construction estimating
