A Senior System Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the organization's IT infrastructure. They must ensure the smooth operation of servers, networks, and other systems to support the business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, operating systems, and software applications
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
• Implementing security measures to protect data and systems
• Managing user accounts, permissions, and access control
• Performing regular backups and data recovery procedures
• Collaborating with IT teams to implement new technologies and systems
• Documenting systems and processes
• Providing technical support and guidance to junior system administrators

Skill Sets:

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash
