An interior designer is responsible for creating attractive and functional spaces for clients. They work closely with clients to determine their needs and design aesthetic, and then create design plans and layouts to meet those requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to understand their needs and design preferences
• Create design plans, including layout, furniture selection, color schemes, and lighting
• Source materials and furnishings for projects
• Coordinate with contractors and tradespeople to execute design plans
• Provide clients with regular updates on project progress and budget

Skill Sets:

• Strong visual and spatial awareness
• Knowledge of design software, such as AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work within budget constraints
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
